Power comes from a lithium battery with a stated life of 800 hours. The model is V30. This description covers only the details provided; no other specifications, performance claims, or compatibility information are available.

Features and Construction

The locator is built around a plastic housing and a built-in antenna. Its small size and lightweight plastic construction make it suitable for attaching to a dog collar. The blue colour is the only colour option stated. The waterproof function adds a degree of weather resistance, though no IP rating or submersion limits are given.

Material and Build

The body is made from plastic, which forms the outer casing of the V30 locator. The built-in antenna is housed inside this casing, so there is no external aerial to snag or adjust. The unit measures 47 x 40 x 15 mm, giving a slim profile that can sit on a collar. The blue finish is the stated colour. No other materials or construction details are provided in the source information, so this description does not claim any additional coatings, seals, or reinforcements.

Size and Practical Fit

At 47 x 40 x 15 mm, the locator is small enough to be worn on a dog collar without adding significant bulk. The plastic housing keeps the overall weight low, though no weight figure is given. The waterproof function means it can be used in wet conditions, but no depth or duration is specified. The built-in antenna means there is no protruding part to catch on objects. The blue colour makes it easy to spot on a collar. Always check that the locator is securely attached before use.

Uses and Placement

This locator is intended for dog owners who want a way to track their pet and receive an alert if the dog leaves a set area. It can be used during walks, in the garden, or around the home. The fence alarm works alongside the GPS positioning to give a boundary-based alert. The device is compatible with Mac and iPhone, so you can use it with those devices. No other uses or placement options are stated.

Event or Professional Use

For dog walkers, trainers, or anyone working with dogs in open spaces, the V30 locator offers GPS positioning with 10-metre accuracy and a fence alarm. The waterproof function means it can be used in rain, though no specific weather rating is given. The 800-hour battery life from the lithium battery reduces the need for frequent charging. The built-in antenna keeps the unit compact. The blue plastic housing is durable enough for everyday wear, but no impact or drop rating is provided. This device is not described as a professional-grade tracker, so it should be used as a supplementary aid.

Everyday Home Use

At home, the locator can help you keep track of your dog in the garden or around the house. The fence alarm can be set to alert you if your dog moves beyond a chosen boundary. The small size and plastic build mean it can stay on the collar without causing discomfort, though no comfort claims are made. The blue colour is easy to see. The waterproof function allows use outdoors in wet weather. The 800-hour battery life means you do not need to charge it every day. The device works with Mac and iPhone for setup and monitoring.

Benefits and Buying Value

The main benefit of this locator is the combination of GPS positioning and a fence alarm in a compact, waterproof unit. The 800-hour battery life reduces charging frequency. The built-in antenna and plastic housing keep the design simple. It is compatible with Mac and iPhone. No price, warranty, or subscription details are provided, so value should be assessed on the stated features alone.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

The locator is designed to be attached to a collar and used repeatedly. The plastic housing can be wiped clean, though no specific cleaning instructions are given. The waterproof function means it can be used in wet conditions without additional protection. The lithium battery is stated to last up to 800 hours, which reduces the need for frequent charging. No replacement parts or service intervals are mentioned. Always follow the manufacturer's guidance for battery care.
