Anti Reflective Silicone Lens Cover Round 21cm Black Lens Hood for SLR Cameras

This anti reflective silicone lens cover is a lens hood for SLR cameras, made from silica gel in black. It has a round diameter of about 21cm and a lens diameter of about 6.2cm, and it is available in sizes L and S. The hood provides shading when you use your SLR camera outdoors in strong sun, helping you complete each photo shooting with better light control. Because only black is available, the black shading gives a good effect. The design is straightforward: a round cover that fits over the lens to reduce stray light. It is a practical accessory for travel and outdoor photography, and it stores easily when not in use. This silicone lens cover is a simple way to add shading to your SLR camera setup without complex attachments.

Features and Construction

The lens hood is built from silica gel and shaped as a round cover. It is designed to fit over an SLR camera lens and provide shading in bright outdoor conditions.

Material and Build

The hood is made from silica gel, a flexible material that forms the round shape. The black colour is chosen because black shading is a good effect for reducing stray light. The material is soft and can be positioned over the lens opening. There are no other colours available, so the product is supplied in black only. The silica gel construction keeps the hood lightweight and easy to handle. It is a single-piece cover with a circular profile.

Size and Practical Fit

The round diameter is about 21cm, and the lens diameter is about 6.2cm. Two sizes are available: L and S. The size you choose should match the lens diameter you intend to use. The 6.2cm lens opening is intended for standard SLR lenses. Because the hood is round, it fits around the lens front and extends outward to provide shading. Check the dimensions against your lens before ordering to ensure a suitable fit.

Uses and Placement

This lens hood is intended for SLR cameras used outdoors when the sun is strong. It provides shading so you can better complete each photo shooting.

Event or Professional Use

When shooting outdoors in strong sunlight, the hood helps reduce unwanted light entering the lens. It is useful for travel photography and for any situation where you want to leave a good time with clear photos. The black shading effect supports consistent image capture in bright conditions. The hood is simple to place on the lens before shooting and can be removed when not needed. It is a practical addition to an SLR camera kit for outdoor sessions.

Everyday Home Use

For casual outdoor photography around the home or on day trips, the lens hood provides shading without complicating your setup. It can be kept on the lens while you move between shots. The silica gel material is easy to wipe clean if needed. Because it is a round cover, it does not add bulk to your camera bag. It is suitable for anyone who uses an SLR camera in sunny conditions and wants a straightforward shading solution.

Benefits and Buying Value

The main benefit is shading for SLR cameras in strong sun, which supports better photo shooting. The product is simple, with no complex parts.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

The silicone lens cover can be reused whenever you shoot outdoors. It requires minimal care: keep it clean and store it away from sharp objects. The silica gel material can be rinsed or wiped, but no specialist cleaning instructions are provided. Because it is a single-piece hood, there are no small components to lose. It is a practical item to keep in your camera bag for sunny days.
